Service Description

Fifty hours of PIC Cross Country is required to apply for an IFR rating. Forty hours of Simulated or Actual Instrument training is required for an IFR rating. 15 of the 40 hours must be in an airplane at $200/hour dual instruction/airplane. Twenty hours of ground instruction only at $55/hour. One 250 nautical mile instrument cross-country airplane training flight, with an instrument approach at each airport, and three different kinds of approaches flown. (ILS, RNAV, VOR, NDB, LOC) Tipping your instructor is permitted at the end of the program. . Instrument ground school class is $399 and not included. FAA instrument written exam is $175 and not included. FAA Instrument flight/oral exam is $800 and not included.
